What is the goal of Quit Your Job Day?

The goal of Quit Your Job Day is to reverse the advantage perpetuated by an elitist class who profit from your actions without making any personal investment in you as an individual. If you don't know who profits from your hard work, I assure you that they care very little about you. The prevailing view is that you need a job to survive and that you need the job more than the employer needs you. What most people don't know, and those who profit from your skill and effort certainly don't want you to hear, is that your employer needs you to survive as well.

If it were possible to reverse the prevailing view, it would require the near simultaneous action of a large number of people acting under a single banner. Imagine the reaction if 20% of the employees at your company all terminated their employment on the same day. Imagine the power of a single day where the worker gains the upper hand. Imagine a marketplace where you interviewed employers to find a job you'd enjoy rather than being interviewed.
